This is an exciting conference and will allow our two companies to showcase our educational resources to representatives of Indonesian airlines, as well as individual pilots, aircraft technicians, ground handlers, airport executives, air traffic controllers and members from other aviation related fields in Indonesia. One of the main objectives of this event is to discuss how key industry players can work together to meet Indonesia’s future training needs for skilled aviation professionals for all sectors.
AEA has already had previous professional dealings with members of the Indonesian aviation sector and this conference will allow both AEA and Fly Oz to further develop our ties and contacts within this growing sector.
Indonesia is ranked as having the second-fastest growing aviation industry in the world after China in terms of aircraft orders and business value. According to IATA, Indonesia is expected to be the sixth largest market for air travel by 2034, with some 270 million passengers expected to fly to, from and within the country. In turn, approximately 65% of all aircraft traffic coming into Australia fly through Indonesian airspace. It makes sense for Australian companies like AEA and Fly Oz to become part of this developing industry and to build relationships in Indonesia.
