The Department of Aircraft Maintenance is the faculty under Faculty of Engineering, Science and Technology at Nilai University. Set up in 2008, faculty aspires to become the premier aviation training centre specialising in aircraft maintenance engineering in line with the increasing needs of national aviation development programme as laid down in the government blueprint. With high quality infrastructure, highly trained and multi-skilled teaching personnel and a comprehensive training complying with technical standard and industry requirement, its graduates will be able to meet the demand of current and future aircraft maintenance engineering.

Students who joins the Advanced Diploma in Aircraft Engineering in Nilai University will also be validated by Kingston University to earn a BSc (Hons) in Aircraft Engineering from Kingston University, UK.
Nilai University conducts its European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) B1-1 licence exams through CAAi, UK.
Students are placed on a six month on-the-job training module as part of the programme under the listed industrial partners.
